My Story
Through my time working in theatre I have learned much, the most important lesson being: you must follow your passion. Through the years I have collected a vast array of experiences, from acting to stage managing, from building sets to leading a fluid run crew. I have learned how to solve problems before others became aware of them, while being part of a creative team able to take a group through an experience worth talking about.
Being part of both Sleep No More’s and Then She Fell’s stage management teams helped me to both put on a performance but also to maintain the curtain of theatre while directly interacting with the audience. Working for Gateway Playhouse helped me to grow my technical and leadership skills. My time with Manhattan School of Music allowed even further growth in my skills but also helped my taking ownership of a space and the art produced within. I believe that the breadth of my experience working in theatre gives me a strong sense of how each department works individually and as a whole together. My natural affinity for problem/puzzle-solving keeps me passionate and focused when I lead crews and my admiration of well constructed floor plans and blueprints keep me excited to build.
